Increasing Interest In Macrolane Procedures Reveals Surgicare

Surgicare, one of the leading cosmetic surgery providers in the UK, has revealed a growing interest by Brits in its Marcolane procedures.

March 2009 saw the highest number of enquiries and consultations about Marcolane since Surgicare began offering the service in April the previous year.

Macrolane is a non-surgical procedure that can help with breast reshaping or breast enlargement. The procedure consists of an injection and generally takes less than two hours to complete, with no need for an overnight stay. The results of Macrolane are instantaneous and can last for up to 18 months.

The number of enquiries in March rose by 111% on the previous month’s figure and 78% on the previous record – held jointly by January this year and September 2008. Consultations were also at an all time high – 60% up on February’s figures – and in keeping with the year’s average of a consultation for slightly more than every six enquiries.

Online searches for the procedure have also seen a huge boost since they were introduced in early 2007, peaking around March this year.

Mark Bury, chief executive officer of SurgiCare, said: “This recent rise in interest of cosmetic treatments, particularly the non-surgical procedures such as Marcolane, shows that despite the harsh economic times the public are still keen to look their best.

“Using Marcolane gives a quick boost to a woman’s appearance and is ideal to help boost someone’s confidence. It can be particularly useful for someone after childbirth, or after significant weight loss, who is looking to restore lost volume from their breasts or for someone who just wants to enhance their natural shape.”

Macrolane uses a smooth, non-animal based hyaluronic gel to help enhance breasts and leaves no visible scarring. Men can also benefit from Macrolane’s body shaping treatments by enhancing and refining body shape giving natural looking contours to the chest, as well as other areas including the buttocks and calves.

Surgicare Has Announced A Huge Increase In Macrolane Enquires And Procedures, As Woman Prepare For The Exciting Party Dress Season

As Christmas fast approaches and the panic of party dress perfection sets in, Surgicare, one of the UKs leading cosmetic surgery providers, has just announced a huge increase in Macrolane enquires.

There are only a few weeks to go until Christmas Day and the party season is moments away from getting into full swing. Woman seeking the perfect breast to fill the perfect dress are turning to Macrolane, a non invasive breast procedure to enhance the shape of the breast, making them look fuller and shapelier.

Surgicare’s trained physician, Jonquille Chantrey, is one of a handful of Doctors who is able to perform this procedure using Macrolane, which is a smooth, pure, clear non-animal hyaluronic gel. The treatment increases the size of the breast without the need for any invasive surgery or an overnight stay in hospital providing a quick fix breast solution for Christmas.

The Macrolane procedure is an injectable treatment, similar to a dermal filler treatment and is carried out under a local anaesthetic. After a consultation with the Doctor, the Macrolane treatment itself can take around 1 hour to 90 minutes and the results of non surgical breast reshaping will last for 12-18 months. It is advised that a yearly top-up should be maintained for optimum results. One of the advantages of using Macrolane for breast enhancement is that patients will be able to see the results instantly and in plenty of time for Christmas.

Mark Bury, managing director of SurgiCare commented: “In the run up to Christmas we see a rush of woman trying to squeeze in a breast augmentation usually to achieve party dress perfection. We are being told by our patients that this is the time of year they want to discard their bra as not to be restricted to the style of party dress they want to wear.”

Fashionistas predict the most popular party dresses this Christmas will include strapless gowns, off the shoulder, bright satin tight body con, cleavage revealing flowing chiffon and one shoulder asymmetric, with all styles causing their own vexing boob issues.

As one of the leading UK specialists in cosmetic surgery and non surgical treatments, SurgiCare has all the experience, the latest therapies and the caring, professional staff to enhance a patient’s self-confidence by improving appearances. SurgiCare has helped more than 20,000 patients fulfil their dreams of looking and feeling their best.
